The PoE Tester features independent Volt and Ammeters for all PoE methods. It can be used for measuring passive PoE, 802.3af, 802.3at and can also test DC power supplies.
Display A shows the status of pins 1,2 and 3,6 of the RJ45 connector from source to load. Display B shows the status of pins 4,5 and 7,8 of the RJ45 connector from source to load.
Voltage Ranges supported (1% accuracy):
Mode A and DC connector: 20v to 56v
Mode B: 9v to 56v
Reversed Voltage indicators on source side light up blue LEDs if voltage is reversed.
Tester can act as a stand-alone 1-port PoE injector (requires power supply - see bottom of page for power supply options).
Supports 10/100 and Gigabit data rates in all modes. Data passes through on all 4 pairs.
Usage: Connect the PoE Tester load side to your PoE powered device and connect the PoE Tester Source side to your Switch or Injector.
This PoE Infuser provides Power over Ethernet to as many as 8 devices from a central power source.
If you have existing network switches with extra ports (but no PoE) this is the fastest and cheapest way to add PoE devices without an expensive network upgrade!
A power supply is required for use, power supplies are available at the bottom of this page and must match the voltage of the devices you want to power. Most cameras and VoIP phones use 48 volts. Check your device requirements before selecting a power supply.
This PoE Infuser provides Power over Ethernet to as many as 12 devices from a central power source.
